What Is Sexological Bodywork?

As a Somatic Coach I offer a safe, trusted and non-judgmental space for you to explore your inner world; the very foundation of which is your physical capacity for sensation.

Sexological Bodyworkers are in a unique position to offer guidance, education and hands-on support, within the safe container of a strict code of ethics and professional boundaries.

My journey has been driven by expression and connection. From a corporate career in the City of London, to restaurateur & business-owner on the South Coast; it is interesting to reflect on the twists and turns of life.

Throughout it all I have danced….

I have danced, performed, taught and choreographed for over 30 years. I have worked with many bodies to create stories and shapes, and this I know: We are more than our minds; we are diverse beautiful humans with stories of our own waiting to surface.

Our bodies hold these stories. Once we understand how our experiences have impacted the body, we may begin to gently release the past, creating new shapes and potentials for our future selves.

History & Training

I trained with Katie Sarra & Kian de la Cour of The Se a Scho ol of Embodiment accessing lectures and coaching from the founders and pioneers of Somatic Sexology.

Modalities include Breathwork, Empowering informed choice via Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent, Scar Tissue Remediation and Anatomy with Ellen Heed, Vocal Empowerment, Erotic Bodywork, Awareness & Interoception and Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory.

Joseph Kramer, Ph.D., is the foremost teacher of erotic bodywork in the world. In 1984, he founded the Body Electric School in Oakland, California, where he trained thousands of professional massage therapists, erotic bodyworkers and somatic educators. In 2003 Joseph founded the profession of Sexological Bodywork, overseeing its accreditation in the State of California.

Confidentiality Statement

Anything that is shared within a session or within a workshop setting, will not be shared with anyone else, unless there is an explicit agreement from a client.

If we have not made an agreement, I may use a gesture to acknowledge you and will take your lead on how we interact.

I will not out anyone’s sexuality, kink or relationship interests, identity, activities or status.

I will hold all personal data responsibility and in strictest confidence. I will never knowingly share your data with any other parties, unless further express permission is given as part of our ongoing client agreement.

I will not disclose the nature of our professional relationship.

If we meet outside of a session or a workshop, I will honour any agreement we. I have made in relation to this.

You may decide to disclose that openly and I would still retain confidentiality in relation to the nature of the work.
